Fast Focus is operated by The Pen Is Mightier Content Creators, LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information in three categories:

Account information: Name, email address, firm name, phone number, and bar admission information you provide when you sign up or submit a screening request.
Case information: Case summaries, fact patterns, and supporting materials you submit for screening.
Usage information: Server logs, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not track you across sites.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

How we use information

We use the information you provide to:

Provide the screening service and deliver results to you
Communicate with you about your account, billing, and the service
Improve the service, including by analyzing aggregate, de-identified usage patterns
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your case information with third parties except as needed to provide the service (for example, anonymized scenarios shown to survey respondents) or as required by law.

What respondents see Survey respondents see only the anonymized case scenario you submit. They do not see your name, your firm's name, party names, or identifying case details unless you choose to include them in the scenario itself.

Service providers

We use third-party service providers to operate Fast Focus. Each provider receives only the information necessary to perform its function and is contractually obligated to protect that information. Current providers include:

Hosting and content delivery (Vercel, Cloudflare)
Payment processing (Stripe)
Email delivery (Resend or equivalent transactional email provider)
Survey panel and respondent recruitment
Customer support and CRM tools

How we protect information

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect the information we collect, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where supported, and access controls limiting who can view your data. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We retain account and case information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After account closure, we retain records for a reasonable period to comply with legal, tax, and audit obligations, then delete or de-identify the data. You may request earlier deletion of your data by contacting us, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

The right to access information we hold about you
The right to correct inaccurate information
The right to request deletion of your information
The right to opt out of marketing communications
The right to data portability

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies (for example, session cookies maintaining your login) are set by default. Optional cookies for analytics and product improvement are set only with your consent, which you can manage through the cookie banner shown on your first visit and revisit at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site.

We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not track you across other websites and do not require cross-site cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers and posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
